Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training B1
Up to 5,000 kg - On-site in South Wales & the South West
I specialise in counterbalance FLT training delivered entirely on site, so operators learn on the exact forklifts, racking and floor surfaces they face every shift. By keeping every lesson under your roof, the course mirrors real-world tasks, productivity stays high and staff finish with an in-house certificate that meets ABA rules and satisfies insurers.
Training is led by me, Povilas - an AITT Category 1 instructor and regional training provider with ten years’ warehouse experience. Each session follows the AITT syllabus, the L117 ACOP for rider-operated lift trucks and the latest HSE updates, giving you paperwork that stands up to any safety audit.
Why choose our tailored counterbalance forklift course?
- Save time & money - no travel or truck hire; every theory block and driving drill happens on site.
- Improve safety & confidence - practical lessons focus on daily checks, load stability, pedestrian zones and emergency stops.
- Stay fully compliant - every course satisfies AITT, ABA and ACOP criteria and produces audit-ready forms plus a printed certificate.
- Guaranteed seat time - groups are capped at three operators, so coaching stays personal and each delegate gets extensive practice before the tests.

Frequently asked questions:
How many candidates can attend the course?
Up to three, ensuring focused coaching and plenty of steering practice.
Do we need a classroom?
A quiet office or canteen with a table and power socket is ideal for the theory module.
Can you teach outside normal hours?
Yes. Sessions run 08:00 - 20:00, Monday to Saturday, anywhere in South Wales or South West England.
What if we need multiple truck types?
I can bolt Reach, Pivot-Steer or Pallet Truck modules onto the same booking, keeping disruption low and documentation unified.

In-House & Fully Compliant
All written exams, pre-use inspections and practical manoeuvres are logged on controlled documents for your health-and-safety file. I supply digital copies on request, making future audits painless. Successful candidates receive a laminated ID card and printed certificate valid for five years - proof your team meets UK forklift safety law on counterbalance FLTs.
